PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the degree of freedom in design by using a small-sized oscillation transformer by providing the first and second boosting circuits of a main capacitor for stroboscopic light emission respectively, having transformers which are not magnetically coupled with each other. SOLUTION: A current flows through a primary coil P of an oscillation transformer 30, constituting a first boosting circuit, through an oscillation transistor 5 from a battery 1. A back electromotive voltage is generated when the magnetic flux of a core of the transformer 30 is saturated, and a transistor 5 becomes under a nonconductive condition. Conductive and nonconductive conditions are repeated by the transistor 5, which executes charging to a main capacitor 20. A negative voltage is generated by the back electromotive force of the transformer 30 during a period while the transistor 5 is under the nonconductive condition, a switch element 26 is connected by a changeover circuit constituted of resistors 23, 24, 28 and 29, the transistors 22 and 27 and the switch element 26 and a current flows through the primary coil P of an oscillation transformer 25 which constitutes a second boosting circuit, and the main capacitor 20 is charged. |
