PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a caller telephone number as a message based on caller information obtained from caller notification service by converting the caller information sent from a caller information storing part into a voice signal and transmitting it to a line. SOLUTION: When a password number is inputted while a message is reproduced or when the password number is inputted within a prescribed time after the message is reproduced, this automatic answering telephone set that is a call receiving side from the viewpoint of a user side which makes a telephone call operates a password number detecting part 13 under the control of a controlling part 3, collates an incoming password number and confirms it. When the part 13 confirms the password number, the part 3 reads caller information from a caller information storing part 10 and sends it to a voice synthesizing part 14. The part 14 converts the caller information consisting of a telephone number and a name into a voice signal. The caller information converted into the voice signal is transmitted to a line from a caller information transmitting part 15 and is outputted as voice from a receiver of the user who makes a telephone call with a telephone set when the user is out.
