PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable viewing and reserved recording by making a telephone set connected with a television set via a telephone line by a call signal from the telephone set transmit a voice message to guide remote control procedure and performing a program reservation processing by key information to be transmitted by responding to the voice message. SOLUTION: When the call signal from the telephone set 50 at a broadcasting service center 42 is detected, switches 31 to 33 are set at the side of a contact (b) and the television receiver is connected with the telephone set 50 via the telephone line by a controller 10. Next, a voice message output circuit 26 is made to output the voice message to guide the remote control procedure preliminarily stored in a voice memory 25 to the telephone line by the controller 10. The key information corresponding to a key number depressed on the telephone set 50 by responding to this guide is converted into a code by a data decoder 24 and a specified processing is performed according to the code by the controller 10. Thus, viewing and reserved recording is performed by the remote control by the telephone.
