<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and surely complete the shifting by rapidly decelerating a shaft of a transmission in a synchronous manner. SOLUTION: In an inertia brake 4 of a transmission, a clutch group 10 is pressed using a ball ramp mechanism 8 to decelerate a rotating transmission shaft. The clutch group 10 is supported by an integrated drive assembly 86. An armature 16 is provided with a surface formed at the angle to be engaged with a friction surface formed on an end plate 14, and a cone clutch 18 is formed thereon. A coil 12 is excited by the power signal of a control unit 45, and the armature 16 is magnetically attracted, thereby introduces the friction brake force in the armature 16 to operate the ball ramp mechanism 8.</p> |
