<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiency suppress the power consumption of the computer when a mouse is not operated while making the operator become aware of tension, stress, etc., when operating the mouse. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 13 and a temperature detecting circuit 14 measure the temperature of a thumb and when the measured temperature of the thumb varies, attention is attracted by displaying a message of characters on a display device or voicing it. While the temperature sensor 13 and temperature detecting circuit 13 are detecting the temperature of the thumb, the computer is not placed in power-saving mode and when the temperature of the thumb is not detected any more, the computer is switched to the power-saving mode.</p> |
