<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which the image forming such as copying can be automatically and beautifully executed at a time even in the case of a large-sized paper being as large as four A4-sized papers. SOLUTION: A carrying device 20 is provided on the forefront side in the paper carrying direction of a carrying guide 25 used also as a holding unit of a transfer roller 18. Then, the guide 25 is made possible to be rocked upward and downward around a turning fulcrum X on the side of a pair of resist rollers by a transfer contact/separate driving part 26. The carrying device 20 is made so that the forefront side thereof in the paper carrying direction can be rocked upward and downward by making a roller 26 on the transfer roller 18 side as a turning fulcrum and by interlocking with the guide 25. The lower side of a fixing device 21 is provided with a retreat part which can be linked with the carrying device 20 in the state that the carrying device 20 is turned downward. When an image is formed to the large-sized paper being A4×4 times, after the image is transferred on the half part thereof in the carrying direction (as much as the lateral width of A3), the paper P' is retreated to the retreat part once and thereafter, returned so that the image is formed on the left half part.</p> |
