PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer own vehicle position information or the like to another vehicle. SOLUTION: A navigator is provided with a means 11 for detecting the current position of an own vehicle, a means 12 for searching for a path from the detected current position to a destination, and a means 14 for displaying the searched path on a map being displayed on a monitor along with the accompanying information. Further, the device is provided with a network interface 2 for transmitting and receiving an electronic mail through the Internet, a main transmission means 3 for transmitting information including the current position information of the own vehicle being detected by the current position detection means 11 to the electronic mail and a mail reception means for displaying the current position information of another vehicle being included in the electronic mail on the display means 14 of the own vehicle when receiving an electronic mail from another vehicle. |
