The dashboard (1) is made from a plastics material and has a base (2) and a ventilation tube. The procedure uses a molding process, with a section (6) of the tube being formed as one part with the base. This section is then folded to shape to form the ventilation tube in the shape of a pipe. The section is folded just after molding when the plastics material is still warm and malleable. |
