摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an azimuth-measuring system to continuously measure the azimuth of an object with high accuracy by outputting computed azimuth data as the result of azimuth measurement when the occurrence of abnormality is not discriminated and, when the occurrence of abnormality is discriminated, outputting corrected azimuth data. SOLUTION: GPSs 1 and 2 respectively installed to the bow and stern of a marine vessel output distance data Dp1 and Dp2 and a magnetic compass 4 outputs measured azimuth data Dd2 . A azimuth computing section 3 finds the azimuth of the marine vessel from the distance data Dp1 and Dp2 and outputs the computed results as computed azimuth data Dd1 . When azimuth data Dd1 and Dd2 are inputted, a corrected value calculating section 5 finds the error amount of the azimuth data Dd2 against the azimuth data Dd1 and outputs the error amount as azimuth correction data Dh . Then a correcting section 6 corrects the azimuth data Dd2 by using the correction data Dh and outputs the corrected result as corrected azimuth data Dd2 '. A switching section 7 outputs the computed azimuth data Dd1 when the occurrence of abnormality is not discriminated and the corrected azimuth data Dd2 ' when the occurrence of abnormality is discriminated.
