摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a recording density by allowing a device to have a sufficient reproducing ability even in the case of reproducing the outer peripheral side of an optical disk and improving the durability at the time of repeatedly reproducing in an inner peripheral side of the disk when the device adopts a one CAV(constant angular velocity) system. SOLUTION: This optical disk device uses a CAV system in which the rotation of an optical disk 15 is controlled at a constant angular velocity and also the recording area of the optical disk is divided into plural zones and average densities in every zone are made roughly constant by changing recording frequencies in every zone. In this case, the device has an MPU(microprocessor unit) 30 performing a laser power control raising the power of a reproducing laser as the reproduction position of the optical disk 15 is moved from the inner peripheral side to the outer peripheral side and lowering the power of the reproducing laser as the reproduction position of the disk is moved from the outer peripheral side to the inner peripheral side.
