PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery using a gelled electrolyte, having high holdability of the electrolyte, and restrained in liquid leakage. SOLUTION: This lithium secondary battery layered with a positive electrode and a negative electrode via an electrolyte layer to be stored in a case is constituted to contain a gelled electrolyte in a structural body in which the electrolyte layer has 40% or less of reduction rate of thickness when 1×10<5> (N/m<2> ) of load is applied. Exudation of the electrolyte from the electrolyte layer is restrained to allow storing thereby in a soft case of variable shape formed into a plane laminate form. The plane laminate may be bent in its one part without any problem. |
