PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ciphering method and deciphering method for three- dimensional shape data which are useful in preventing a third person from freely use the shape of a three-dimensional body represented with the three- dimensional shape data without the permission of the creator of the three- dimensional shape data. SOLUTION: The three-dimensional shape data representing the shape of the three-dimensional body 42 are altered through the operation of a ciphering key. The ciphered data having been altered are distributed. The three- dimensional body 43 that the ciphered data represent is a deformed one of the original three-dimensional body 42 and different. On a side where the ciphered data are received, the alteration of the ciphered data is cancelled by using a deciphering key and the original three-dimensional data can be obtained. |
