<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic controller which makes a video apparatus to easily carry out repetitive control operations, such as reliability and durability tests, without an operator's burden with simple constitution. SOLUTION: When the operator connects the automatic controller 1 to the video apparatus 8 by a local application control bus system (LANC) cable 7 and sets control operation conditions, such as an operation mode, operation time and number of operation times, from a control operation condition setter 2, the automatic controller 1 is operated by the power supply from the video apparatus 8 and the video apparatus 8 executes the operations of the set conditions. The video apparatus 8 transfers an operation information signal Fra to the automatic controller 1, which in turn displays the operation condition of the video apparatus 8, such as the data on the number of operation times and the data on the operation time, to a display section 4. As a result, the exact execution of the repetitive operations of the reliability and durability tests of the video apparatus 8 by the LANC system eliminating the operator's burden is made possible. The need for the power source for the automatic controller 1 is eliminated. The reduction of the weight, size and cost thereof is thus made possible. The versatile execution of the control operation of the wide operation modes is made possible by the rewriting of the operation procedures of the operation mode of a microcomputer 3.</p> |
