PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an optical fiber and to easily exchange an external optical function unit and a housing part in a housing part for housing both of the optical fiber and a coated optical fiber. SOLUTION: A first housing part 6 for housing a part including the optical fiber 1 and a second housing part 10 for housing the fusion excess length part of the coated optical fibers 7-9 are provided and a synthetic resin 11 is filled in the first housing part 6. In the case of exchanging optical function units 3-5 or in the case of exchanging the housing part, the optical fiber is disconnected and fused again at the fusion excess length part of the coated optical fibers 7-9 of the second housing part 10.
