摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve adequate alignment by providing respective pixel electrode region with means for recognizing misalignment. SOLUTION: A first insulating film 3 is formed atop a first conductive layer 21 of a rectangular shape, and a semiconductor layer 22 of a rectangular shape is formed on the insulating film 3. A second conductive layer 23 of the rectangular shape is formed on the semiconductor layer 22, and a second insulating film 10 is formed atop the conductive layer 23. Pixel electrodes 12 are formed atop the insulating film 10. These pixel electrodes 12 are connected to the second conductive layer 23, i.e., the extension parts of source electrodes 7 of thin-film transistors(TFTs) via contact holes 10' of the rectangular shape formed at the insulating layer 10. The patterns of the first conductive layer 21 formed simultaneously with scanning signal wiring Gi+1 , the patterns of the semiconductor layer 22 formed simultaneously with the semiconductor layer 5 of the TFTs and the patterns of the second conductive layer 23 formed simultaneously with video signal wiring Dj are visibly observable in the extension part 23.</p>
