PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste treatment equipment easy in maintenance although it comprises a treatment furnace for burning subjects thrown in to be processed from an arbitrary base and its subsidiary equipment in an equipment space formed to extend underground vertically. SOLUTION: A maintenance space A2 for a treatment furnace F and its subsidiary equipment 3 is formed vertically along an equipment space A1. In addition, it is preferable to form a transfer space through which the subsidiary equipment 3 can be laterally moved to the maintenance space A2 between the equipment space A1 and the maintenance space A2. The present invention is more effective when exhaust gas treatment equipment 5 is provided to serve as the subsidiary equipment 3.
