SYSTEM CHANGEOVER TYPE VIDEO MIXING PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system changeover type video mixing processor capable of processing 1125 lines system digital video signals and 525 lines system digital video signals in one device and thus lowering costs such as the equipment cost of the device. SOLUTION: The 1125 lines system digital video signals are time-divided into four component block strings by time equivalent to a sampling cycle in a separation circuit 12 and simultaneously outputted by every component. For the 525 lines system digital video signals of 4 channels, the 525 lines system digital video signals of the respective channels are time-divided into the four component block strings by the time equivalent to the sampling cycle in a separation multiplex circuit 15, and the time-divided four component block strings are alternately arrayed for the respective four channels and simultaneously outputted by every components. The output of the separation circuit 12 and the output of the separation multiplex circuit 15 are switched in a switching circuit 13 and supplied to one mixing circuit 17.
