<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a projector capable of displaying clear image, small in size and easy in adjustment by providing an adjustment mechanism with which the arrangement of an image forming liquid crystal light valve is specified and the mutual alignment of the picture elements of the light valve is enabled. SOLUTION: An image forming liquid crystal light valve 7b of red light is arranged at the center part of a housing 8, and the image forming liquid crystal light valves 7a and 7c of blue and green light are arranged at the position point-symmetrical thereto. The light valves 7a and 7c are mounted on a circuit board, and the circuit board is supported and fixed slidably in a horizontal direction with respect to a first fixing plate. The first fixing plate is fixed to a second fixing plate rotatably/adjustably by an eccentric pin. The second fixing plate is positioned and guided by a dowel provided in a third fixing plate, so that the position is adjusted in a vertical direction. The pixels of the light valves 7a and 7c are moved in horizontal, vertical and rotational directions to adjust the alignment with the pixel of the light valve 7b.</p> |
