PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generally execute interferene check and edition for a three- dimensional(3D) model by a CAD system having a general 3D structure system based on two-dimensional(2D) electric system design information generated by the general CAD system or the like. SOLUTION: A 3D model preparing device 4 in a system provided with a 3D parts information storing part 3 for storing information of the 3D size of parts to be loaded on a substrate and capable of preparing a 3D model for the substrate loaded with the parts based on the 2D electric system design information of parts and wirings loaded on the substrate designed by a computer has structure for inputting the electric system design information, retrieving the information storing part 3 based on the electric system design information, extracting parts having 3D size, arranging the extracted pars on the substrate, and preparing a 3D model for the substrate loaded with the parts.
