PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily transfer a toner image regardless of the environment in which an image forming device is placed. SOLUTION: A post-electrification unit 17 is disposed or the downstream side from a primary transfer nip part T1 but or the upstream side from a secondary transfer nip part T2 in the direction of the rotation of an intermediate transfer body 5, so as to be opposed to the surface of the intermediate transfer body 5. The environment in which the main body of the image forming device is placed, is detected, and an electrifying bias which the electrifying-bias application power source 18 applies to the post-electrification unit 17 is altered according to the environment, thereby altering an amount of the post-electrification to be imparted to the toner image on the intermediate transfer body. Thus, secondary transfer can be carried out satisfactorily without dependence on an amount of attached toner. |
