PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously attain reduction of mounting area and an increase in the number of terminal by arranging a housing of a circular shape in a plane view and a terminal part for external connection in a radial shape at prescribed circumferential pitch at the outer peripheral edge of the housing. SOLUTION: A socket housing 21 is formed into a substantially cylindrical shape as a whole, a recessed socket part 21a is formed on the one end side and the inside diameter is slightly larger than the outside diameter so that a header housing of a male connector may be fitted and detached. A plurality of female side contact terminals 22 are bent and molded into substantial L- shapes, the one end side 22a is arranged as a connection terminal at the inner peripheral part of the socket housing 21 and the other end side 22b is horizontally extended as an external connection terminal from the outer peripheral part of the socket housing 21. The female side contact terminals 22 are at circumferential pitch 15', the number of connector core becomes '24', the number of core is increased as compared with a square socket, mounting area can be reduced and drawing around of circuit patterns on the side of a mounted substrate is performed by the shortest distance.
