PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor which has a motor driving circuit housed in a motor case, has a module structure and can improve the assembly performance of circuit components and the heat dissipation of a heating element satisfactorily. SOLUTION: An electric motor 1 has components of the motor housed in a motor case. At least a circuit board 6 and a switching device 35 for motor driving are housed in a module case 13 which is a part of the motor case and integrally molded as a driving circuit module 7. After the inside of the driving circuit module is sealed with resin 11 and the circuit board is fixed to the module case, the switching device is fixed to the case. Further, rod-type conductor members 9 are used for the connection between the terminals of the switching device and the circuit board, and electrical and mechanical connections between the driving circuit module and other modules. |
