PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect copyright of a video by preventing storage of the video, of which copying is prohibited, in an optical disk etc., by changing an inserting position of synchronous information by controlling a synchronous information inserting means and inserting information to indicate changed amount into the video when a fact that a copy prevention signal is mupliplexed with an inputted analog video signal is detected. SOLUTION: When the copy prevention signal is detected in a digital video signal which is A/D converted by an ADC circuit 120, the information to indicate presence/absense of a pseudo-synchronous signal and color burst inversion, etc., is transferred to a control circuit 190 by a copy prevention signal detecting circuit 170. A control signal is outputted to a luminance signal processing circuit 140 and a color signal processing circuit 145 so that no malfunction of the luminance signal processing circuit 140 and the color signal processing circuit 145 is caused due to the pseudo-synchronous signal and the color burst inversion by the control circuit 190. On the other hand, a detection signal to indicate a fact that the copy prevention signal is detected is outputted to a synchronous information generating circuit 180. |
