PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an appropriate braking force corresponding to the change of the weight of a car, without fitting the car with a sensor for detecting a load weight and so on, by finding an index representing the load weight as a function of the current and voltage of a cargo-handling motor, and controlling the braking of a running motor in accordance with this index. SOLUTION: The voltage of a cargo-handling motor 36 is found by multiplying a battery voltage Vb by the conduction ratio of a cargo-handling chopper of a transistor 37 for the cargo-handling chopper. An index representing a load weight is found by the ratio of a cargo-handling motor current Im2 to this cargo-handling motor voltage. And a braking force value is set from the index representing the load weight to perform control. Consequently, it becomes possible to set an appropriate braking force in accordance with the change of a car weight on the basis of data detectable inside a controller, without additionally fitting a car with a sensor for detecting the load weight and so on, and braking feeling is improved. |
