PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate an object image into the areas of optional shapes by binarizing the digital image data and synthesizing the binarized image data with optional mask data. SOLUTION: A device other than a TV camera 12 an be used as a means to photograph an object image. An A/D converter 14 converts the analog image data photographed by the camera 12 into the digital image data. A binarization processor 16 binarizes the digital image data which are outputted from the converter 14. The binarization data outputted from the processor 16 are stored in a 1st frame memory 18. A synthesizing means 20 calculates the AND of output data (binarization data) of the 1st and 2nd frame memories and separates the object image data into plural areas of optional shapes. In a logical operation of the means 20, a 3rd frame memory 26 holds the separated image data. |
