PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit video signals from a train station platform and the video signals image picked up by an ITV camera inside a vehicle to a cab by one intra-vehicle transmission line. SOLUTION: The video signals of the station platform image picked up by the ITV camera 4 are modulated in a modulator 5 and converted to infrared light beams 7 and transmitted to the side of a train 3 by a light transmitter 6. On the side of the train 3, the video signals of the station platform are received by a light receiver 8 provided in the vehicle 2 at a last part, converted to electric signals, amplified in a signal amplifier 9 and then transmitted to the demodulator 14 of a front vehicle 2 by the intra-vehicle transmission line 10. Also, the images of the conditions of the respective vehicles 2 are picked up by the ITV cameras 12a, 12b,..., 12n, modulated in the modulators 13a, 13b,..., 13n, composited with the transmission signals of the intra-vehicle transmission line 10 by compositor 11a, 11b,..., 11n and transmitted to the demodulator 14 of the cab. The demodulator 14 selects and demodulates input signals corresponding to the operation of an operation device 16 and the demodulated signals are outputted to a monitor TV 15 and displayed. |
