PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming material in which both of image recording characteristics and recycling characteristics of the supporting body after used are improved, by forming a layer which can be separated from the supporting body by posttreatment, an intermediate layer containing a thermoplastic resin having specified glass transition temp., and an image forming layer in this order on a supporting body. SOLUTION: A layer which can be separated from the supporting body by posttreatment, an intermediate layer containing a thermoplastic resin having <80 deg.C glass transition temp. Tg, and an image forming layer are formed in this order on the supporting body. The separative layer may have any compsn. as far as it has a function to be separated from the supporting body by the posttreatment. However, a gelatin having high adhesion strength and biodegradability is preferably used as the separative layer, and especially crosslinked gelatin is preferable. It is preferable to design the layers in such a manner that the adhesion strength between the supporting body and the separative layer and the adhesion strength between the separative layer and adjacent layer are both >>=300 g/cm, and that after the post treatment, the adhesion strength between the supporting body and the separative layer decreases to <=1 g/cm. |
