摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily design the gamma interpolation curve of a display device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a gamma correction curve editor 4a applied to the display device provided with a gamma correction table 1b for designing an interpolation curve passing through the points and rewriting the contents of the gamma correction table 1b while adding and moving the optional number of the points on a plane where signal strength before correction is arranged on a horizontal axis and the signal strength after the correction is arranged on a vertical axis and a luminance pattern generation part 4b for generating a uniform rectangular pattern using the signal strength V before the correction at the point during adjustment by the gamma correction curve editor 4a and a rectangular dither pattern for which the uniform rectangular pattern is binarized by using a corrected signal which has the signal strengthαsmaller than the signal strength V and the corrected signal which has the signal strengthβlarger than the signal strength V. The rectangular pattern and the rectangular dither pattern are displayed side by side on a screen, the point is moved so as to make the luminance of the rectangular pattern equal to the luminance of the rectangular dither pattern and the interpolation curve is designed.
