PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a sampled musical sound signal in real time and optionally set the output mode of the reproduced sound. SOLUTION: This sampler comprises a memory 1 for storing an input musical sound signal, a DSP(digital signal processor) 2 for sampling a musical sound data into the memory 1 and reproducing the sampled musical sound data in real time, a pedal switch 3, and a mode change-over switch for operation quantity set for setting a desired reproduction mode and assigning it to the pedal switch 3. The DPS 2 is provided with a record control part 5 for controlling sampling of the musical sound signal to the memory 1, a reproduction control part 7 for reading the musical sound signal sampled in the memory 1 and reproducing it in forward or reverse direction, and a pointer control part 8 for determining the range of the sampled musical sound signal, and it outputs the sampled musical sound signal in the reproduction mode set by the mode change-over switch 4 with the operation quantity assigned to the pedal switch 3 being changed. According to this, the sampled musical sound signal can be reproduced in real time. |
