PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of component members, to facilitate the assembly, shorten the time for manufacture, to reduce the cost and to reduce the size of a transformation part. SOLUTION: The outer peripheries of single fibers 3 formed by separating the coated fibers of a multicore optical fiber ribbon 1 are reinforced with reinforcing materials 4. The multicore 5 side of the optical fiber ribbon 1 is housed into the multicore housing part 7 of a base plate 6 and the single core 3 side thereof into the single core housing part 8 of the base plate 6, respectively. A cap is put on the base plate 6 to fix both. The multicore 5 side and the single core 3 side are sandwiched and fixed by the base plate 6 and the cap 9. The single cores 3 reinforced with the reinforcing materials 4 and the multicore 5 side are sandwiched by bending sandwiching implements having adhesives on the inside surfaces of base materials and these adhesives are adhered to each other to sandwich and fix the multicore 5 side and the single cores 3 by the sandwiching implements. The single cores 3 reinforced with the reinforcing materials 4 and the multicore 5 side are sandwiched by two compression bonding implements having the adhesives on the inside surfaces of the base materials and the these adhesives are adhered to each other to sandwich and fix the multicore 5 side and the single cores 3 by these compression bonding implements. |
