PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent freezing of a damper of a refrigerator by providing a stage for opening a baffle of the damper and driving a fan for a specified time. SOLUTION: In the case where both the temperature of a freezing chamber 3 and that of a refrigerating chamber 4 are lower than the reference temperature, at a first stage for driving a compressor and a fan to open baffles 22 and 22a, the temperature of the refrigerating chamber 4 is compared with the reference temperature thereof; in the case where the temperature of the refrigerating chamber 4 is lower than the reference temperature thereof, at a second stage for closing the baffles 22 and 22a, the temperature of the freezing chamber 3 is compared with the reference temperature thereof; in the case where the temperature of the freezing chamber 3 is lower than the reference temperature thereof, at a third stage for stopping the compressor and the fan, the external temperature of the refrigerating chamber is compared with the external reference temperature; in the case where the external temperature of the refrigerating chamber is higher than the external reference temperature, the first stage in restored; in the case where the external temperature of the refrigerating chamber is lower than the external reference temperature, at a fourth stage for judging whether a door of the refrigerating chamber can be opened, the temperature difference before and after opening and closing the door of the refrigerating chamber is compared with a specified reference temperature; in the case where the temperature difference is lower than the reference temperature, the first stage is restored directly; and in the case where the temperature difference is larger than the reference temperature, the baffles 22 and 22a of a damper 20 are opened to drive the fan for a specified time. |
