The arrangement has an engine controller (10) for restarting the engine (1) from its off state in combination with the actuation of a brake actuation part during a time interval from reducing the braking force with the brake actuation part until releasing the brake actuation part. The controller restarts the engine when the braking force is lower than a defined value.
