<p>Bone and cardiovascular health can be maintained by the routine administration of the dietary supplements described herein. A dietary supplement of this invention comprises calcium, phytoestrogen and vitamin D present in amounts sufficient to minimize bone loss in a post-menopausal woman; and dietary fiber, vitamin B12, vitamin B6 and folic acid present in amounts sufficient to reduce total serum cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol. The dietary supplement and methods are also useful for women lacking their ovaries or having defective ovaries.</p> |
