The valve has a needle (2) guided for reciprocation in a nozzle body (3) having a flat end face (3a) which is held by a clamping nut (5) against an end face (4a) of a nozzle holder (4). At least one supply line runs in the nozzle holder and nozzle body. Fuel-guiding overflow points are provided between the nozzle holder and nozzle body. Part of one end face comprises a raised contact surface with surface parts surrounding the fuel-guiding overflow points.
