A diverter valve (10) includes a cup-shaped, substantially cylindrical body (12) with a plurality of ports (14, 16, 18) extending from the side of the body (12), each communicating with a hollow in the body (12). A disk shaped top (20) is held in sealing engagement with the body (12). A plug (52) is rotatably positioned within the body (12) and seals against the body (12) for closing a selected one of the plurality of ports (14, 16, 18). A portion (50) of the plug (52) extends through the top (20) to permit the plug (52) to be turned. A handle (24) is coupled to the extending portion (50) of the plug (52). The handle (24) has an adjustable stop (38) for limiting the rotation of the plug (52).
