A resilient V- or U-shaped body portion (1) has two shanks (2,3). Recess (5,6) in each shank have defining edges (11,12). There are tangs (7,8) opposite the defining edges. The clip may be flexed to engage the object (9), and released to secure it. The tangs may be bent inwards, or downwards from the apex.
