<p>A thermoelectric fluid conditioning apparatus (100) for a motorcyclist comprising a housing (80) having a plurality of fluid inlets (82, 86) and fluid outlets (84, 88); a plurality of thermoelectric elements (10-18) and two heat exchangers (50, 60). The apparatus can also have a temperature regulator (90, 190), having first and second fluid inlets (92, 94), a main fluid outlet (96) and at least one fluid exhaust outlet (96); at least one fluid circulation unit and a control unit (130). The unit is mounted on a motorcycle (202), and is preferably connected to a bodysuit (300) and/or a helmet (290) worn by the motorcyclist. The thermoelectric elements (10-18) are energized and cause a reduction of temperature on one side and an increase of temperature on the other side of the thermoelectric element. One fluid flow is forced to flow through a hot heat exchanger (50) and to the first fluid outlet of the housing. Another fluid is forced to flow through the cold heat exchanger (60).</p> |
