<p>An excavating bucket assembly (33) for excavation apparatus that does not use pins to connect teeth (30) to adaptors (31) on the excavation bucket. Each adaptor includes a receiving portion (34) defined therein that is at least partially defined by an abutment wall (35). Each tooth (30) includes an interference portion (36). The connection system (10) includes a biasing portion (11) adjacent the abutment wall (35) and a locking portion (12) adjacent the biasing portion (11). The locking portion (12) includes a locking section (15) and an interference section (16) that engages the interference portion (36) of its respective tooth (30). The locking section (15) and the interference section are capable of movement relative to one another to thereby couple the tooth to the adaptor.</p> |
