The time relay has an internal data memory as a time base, a processor with computer and memory groups, displays, output unit for switching devices and/or function status, current supply units and housing units with connecting elements. A screened housing (1) has connections for a current supply (9) and earth (6), programming (8), remote control (6) and several loads. There are two interconnected main units, in which one is a functional assembly (10) and the other is a network part (11).
