Circuit for composite fuel cell system

The circuit monitors the voltages of the fuel cells (2-7). Components (8) mounted externally on the fuel cells or integrated into them are able to bridge the fuel cells to form a low resistance parallel circuit. The components can be diodes or controllable switches, e.g. MOSFETS. They can be integrated into the edge of the fuel cell system. An Independent claim is also included for a method of operating the circuit.
