The drive unit has a flywheel mass(10) which through a motor(1) is rotatable around a centre. Means are provided by which the distance of the centre of gravity of the mass from the centre during revolution around the centre can be altered in such a way that there is a greater distance on one side of the centre than on the opposite side. At least two mass bodies are installed around the centre with equal distribution. The mass bodies are installed eccentrically on a shaft(9) which is rotatable around the centre.
