A filigree ceramic or powder metallurgical component is produced by casting a slip of specified viscosity in an evacuated elastic mold. Production of filigree structured or filigreed three-dimensional ceramic or powder metallurgical components comprises (a) producing a slip of 0.1-10.0 Pas viscosity by grinding and mixing a ceramic or powder metallurgical powder and a binder solution in a solvent; (b) introducing the slip at up to 100 deg C into an elastic mold; (c) evacuating the mold before, during and/or after filling; and (d), after consolidation of the slip, demolding and sintering.
