A traveling vehicle comprising an onboard space, front wheels and rear wheels provided on the front and rear sides of the onboard space, a pair of driving wheels provided between the front and rear wheels, bars extending from the driving wheels in the upward direction and capable of bringing the driving wheels into contact with the ground and lifting the same therefrom by pivotally moving the bars along with the driving wheels around predetermined fulcrums, and driving units which are used to rotate the driving wheels, fixed to upper end portions of the bars and capable of being removed from side portions of the onboard space by pivotally moving the bars along with the driving units around predetermined fulcrums.
