The lighting arrangement has light bodies in the classic candle shape with electrically powered lights or lamps in the low voltage range. Current is supplied via a ring core transformer mounted in a plug-mains equipment housing and a two-wire cable changing to a flexible plastic tube attached to the tree with ring clamps. The number of lamp sockets can be varied.
