The ultrasound transmission circuit has an electrical transmitter (1) for supplying a current (I) and voltage (U) signal to an ultrasound transducer (3) through a supply line (2). The current and voltage signals are received by a phase regulator (4), for controlling a variable impedance (6) coupled to the supply line, to ensure that the current and voltage signals received by the ultrasound transducer are in phase.
