There is provided a fuel assembly nozzle in which the cost is reduced while the strength standard is met. In the fuel assembly nozzle disposed at the upper and lower parts of a fuel assembly for a light water reactor, at least a pad plate 15B, which is a principal portion, is configured by a precision casting of stainless steel, and the delta ferrite content of the precision casting is set so that 3% ≤ delta ferrite content ≤ 13%. <IMAGE>
