<p>A dead tank (1) is a metallic tank which is connected to earth. There are two terminals (2,4) intended to be connected respectively to a high tension line (3) and to an upstream source that allows the supplying of the line across the circuit breaker. The device includes a capacitor (6) connected between the two terminals of the breaker, which allows for the limiting of the resetting speed of the voltage, following a circuit break due to a line fault.</p> |
