PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anticancer agent having broad antitumor spectra by including a specific compound having a hydronaphthalene ring structure as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This medicine has a hydronaphthalene ring structure which may possess an unsaturated linkage represented by the formula [R<1> -R<3> are each a (substituted) alkyl] and includes a compound in which the structure derived from isocitric acid is not combined with the methyloxy group in the 9-position of the naphthalene ring through ether linkage as an active ingredient. As the above compound, sclareol, sclareolide, manool or the like is preferably used. On the effective dose, it is favorable to be administrated once or several times a day at a dosage of preferably 0.1-100 mg/kg weight/day. |
