PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a liquid to be treated antibacterial by coating far infrared radioactive ceramics composed mainly of alumina, silica sand, active carbon, silicon, zirconia or the like with an antibacterial metal such as silver or copper or mixing the ceramics with the silver or the copper and sintering the mixture. SOLUTION: Antibacterial properties are imparted to a diluted aqueous solution, containing an additive material, which is used for a water-soluble cutting oil, a cooler or the like as a liquid to be treated, simultaneously with a filtering treatment, using an antibacterial filter medium. This filter medium is manufactured by coating far infrared radioactive ceramics composed mainly of alumina, silica sand, active carbon, silicon, zirconia or the like with an antibacterial metal such as silver or copper or mixing the ceramics with the silver or the copper and sintering the mixture. Next, the filter medium is packed for use in a circulatory filtration machine A with a liquid suction aperture B and a discharge aperture C. In this case, magnets are preferably set opposite to each other in a homopolar fashion or arranged in a circular fashion in the circulatory filtration machine A to secure a magnetic region. |
