PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show a great deal of information by the use of a specific aminothiophenolate metallic complex among near infrared ray absorbents. SOLUTION: A near infrared ray absorbent is expressed by formula I. Herein, R<1> and R<2> are alkyl groups that can include a hydrogen atom and substitutional group respectively, aryl groups that can include a substitutional group, or aralkyl groups that can include a substitutional group, and formula II is a benzene ring that can include a substitutional group respectively, M1 is Ni, Pd, Co, Fe, TiO, Sn, SnCl2 or Cu, X is S, Se, NH or NR<15> (R<15> is an alkyl group, an aryl group or aralkyl group), and Z<+> is shows a cation. Then, the density gradation of a pixel is given by causing the density of the absorbent to change every dot. Controlling the production quantity of infrared ray absorption coloring matter in accordance with application energy allows multigradation such as three-steps of, e.g. 0, 0.3, and 1 regarding the density in one dot. |
